The Royal Canadian Legion is Canada’s largest Veteran support and community service organization. RCL cares for all those who have served our nation. As members, you show your thanks by supporting and advocating for Veterans, by remembering their sacrifices, and by continuing the tradition of service in helping our communities. We also all of course keep November 11th in mind – as it offers all of us to stop for a moment and spend a moment in silence to acknowledge the importance of this day and all that it means to us.
This week we teamed up with the @royalcanadianlegion and decided to host a dinner at one of their beautiful branches – #Branch344 on the Lakeshore – that has the most stunning backdrop of the Lake and is a wonderful communal space to really come together and celebrate life. So much is done at branch level and this is something that we wanted to really highlight. By bringing some incredible influencers together to come and spend some time on site – it really gave us a chance to make them understand the value of these branches and all that they mean to our Veterans, RCMP members, Serving Military (and their families), to new members and to the community on the whole.
To leave a lasting impression, we also gifted all of our guests with a beautiful Poppy bag and other beautiful Poppy items that can be found here: Poppystore.ca.
