New Years – ahh that time of year! The time when the clock strikes 12 and you realize you are about to embark on a whole new year. New Years is a very important time of year, for so many reasons! This is the outfit that will be featured in numerous photos…shared on social media sites…and something that you can look back on in the years ahead – to see “what did I choose to wear that day”…”what meant something to me that year?”.
When I think about what I want to wear to for New Years, I think about what kind of impression I want to make when I walk into a room. What am I going to pick to make this evening memorable? Much like how I select a Holiday outfit…I want this outfit to have a bit of sparkle and glitter…because it is still that time of year where a little bit of bling makes sense – okay…maybe that makes sense all year round!
To ring in 2017, I’m thinking of going with a nice pair of black tights, black sandals and a cute silk shift dress! Depending on how that all pairs up, I might add a bit of jewellery to pull the look together – perhaps a necklace or a pair of earrings that make a statement.
