Building a routine isn’t always the easiest thing to do! It always sounds great – it always sounds like a good idea – but when it comes down to sticking to your routine – it never quite turns out to be…as easy as it looks! Something that I find works out for me is to actually get excited about what you’re doing! To actually build up that anticipation and find little things to inspire you to make that positive shift in your life. For me – it is all about finding small things that get me excited to wake up and make it so that I just can’t wait to get the day started! As part of my new routine – I really wanted to make an effort to include exercise in there and build that in effectively – so I started by finding cute chic workout gear to make that first part of the day a bit more fun. Why not be fashionable and fit? Then I look go my morning cup of coffee (using one of my favourite mugs) and a little morning smoothie – using one of my favourite blenders – and get that boost of energy from all angles! I have a lot on the go – so I need to make sure I’m always ready to take on the world. If you do little things like that all day long – you’ll be surprised to see the kind of results that can come out of it.
Once you have your routine down pat – you can start to look at other fun things in your life! Something that I always try to do is keep an open mind – always try to learn new things – explore new fun things that the city has to offer and to just keep educating myself! The best way to do this is to head to fun festivals held around the city and get a taste of different cultures – different foods – different experiences! I landed at the @toronto_ukrainian_festival the other day and had the best time! In this case – this was an opportunity for me to get back to my roots for a bit…and to learn and see how Canadians are celebrating Ukrainian culture! Had a chance to take a bite into a few of my favourite things! Perogies – yummm! The summer season always serves as a great time of year to check out fun things that pop up around the city – but it doesn’t last that long – so remember to soak up the sun before the weather starts to get a little chilly!
