Burt’s Bees Lipstick
I have been a fan of Burt’s Bees products for a few years now – but have been so excited to see their line expanding – new colours and shades being launched – and in new formats as well – lipstick, lip crayon etc.
I have been learning so much more about bees over the last few months – I am just seeing so much out there about them and I have really been getting educated on their importance – as part of our ecosystem – and on just everything that they d0 for us! I love that beeswax is used in their products as natural binder – and their products are generally listed as 99% or 100% natural – which is hard to find these days!
I love that they really stay close to the idea of just speaking to what is good for you…is good for your skin and is good for nature! We often learn about this full circle idea throughout our childhood and into adulthood, but I feel like we start to forget how important that whole idea is! With our skin really being the main organ in our bodies, we definitely want to make sure to take care of it!
There are some new shades that launched that I’m really loving and I continue to love how they feel on my lips when I apply them and how much moisture is retained! Each colour is so rich and really pulls together my looks well! I love that I feel like I am wearing make up but yet feel like I am sporting a relatively natural look overall.
