Holiday Market Finds
The Holidays are always such an amazing time of year! I love being around family and friends – trying out new products, looking for cool gift ideas….and indulging in warm ‘wintery’ things – a time of year when hot chocolate, soup, and ‘pumpkin spice everything’ is in the air.
Distillery District
I popped into a few holiday markets this weekend and have to admit…that I was really impressed with the overall experience – each one was different in it’s own way. The one at the #DistilleryDistrict was absolutely gorgeous – there were Christmas lights everywhere and little vendor booths lined up throughout the square – there were so many different products to test out…it was never ending! I loved the Campbells Soup station – so warm and welcoming – and then tested out some Gourmet Grilled Cheese – it was incredible!
Then, I saw the most incredible thing – there was a large beautifully decorated Christmas Tree in the centre of the square, where there also happened to be Christmas Carolers performing, prompting others to join in and sing-a-long. I started to get flashbacks of my youth, remembering a time when all students were gathered together to sing carols togethers – I definitely had a smile on my face at that point 😉
After walking around for a bit longer – I noticed the most stunning Carosel – I have fond memories of Carosels, and remember seeing them in Nice and Paris – while I was on exchange – something I will have to talk more about in an upcoming blog post – lots to share on that front!
