PINK MANIA
Pink – what else can I say? You guys know I’m obsessed with this colour, but I am particularly in love with that 60s inspired bubble gum pink that just has a way of putting a smile on my face. I could do pink all day – pink shoes, pink hat, pink shades etc…but like anything in life…it’s always good to find a balance in your outfits too! When I put an outfit together, I always want it to look effortless or just really interesting. You want this to say something about who you are – give people a sense of what your personality is like and what you are all about!
When it comes to putting the actual outfit together, I like to start with the main piece – dress, skirt, top – and depending on what I choose to wear…I’ll then move into the realm of shoes and accessories. At that point I decide whether or not I want to sport earrings or a necklace…then what shoes are going to fit well and bring it all together. When it comes to pairing two or more items with the same colour, you can still do that without overwhelming the look, but usually it requires you to mix and match textures and different shades of that colour…so that it still all flows…but also still looks effortless.
