Skechers, Skies, Sandals and Scones!
Time to Socialize, Skecherize and Summerize!
I have been living the life of a blogger for quite some time now and really just can’t ever get enough! I am excited to wake up every day, look up at the sky and think “where will this take me next?” The beauty of pursuing your dreams and really reaching for the stars, is that you realize at some point, your future is directly linked to your choices now… and to the decisions that you make today!
Socialize
Being a blogger has its perks for sure, but it definitely isn’t always as easy and effortless as it looks! Some days are filled with back-to-back meetings, photo shoots – other days are all about research… developing plans for the next few weeks… deciding which outfits to wear to upcoming events – all that jazz! I have been doing this for a while now and it can definitely take a toll on my energy level throughout the day, especially because I like to keep a rather bubbly, upbeat feel to my blog… but also want to make sure that I present the best (and happiest) version of myself to my followers and to the world! As a result, comfort and style are totally an important part of my overall image and to the first impression that I make… when I am either on camera, entering a room, or meeting a brand representative for the first time – this is when my love for Skechers really starts to blossom!
Skecherize
I started pairing up all of my outfits and ‘Skecherizing’ everything… so that the overall look was chic, fashionable, and comfortable! Once I started wearing Skechers, I realized exactly what I had been missing all along and how much better I felt throughout the day! I also found that with some of their shoes being an awesome cross between sport and style, I was able to do things like hit up the gym, then head directly to a meeting… simply by changing up my outfit and leaving my Skechers on! The same shoes that provided me the cushion I needed at the gym, were also the same shoes that provided me the comfort and chicness that I was looking for when pairing them up with my stylized pieces! Each of us get older with each day that comes, and as we grow older, we also tend to grow wiser – I definitely grew ‘shoe-wiser’ and really started to invest in my feet! I had so much more energy and felt so much lighter overall after I started implementing Skechers into my closet and sporting them around town – a 30-minute walk literally felt like 5 minutes – pretty awesome!
Summerize
Now that we’re in mid-summer, it’s perfect for what’s out there in the “sandal world!” I wanted to see what new cute chic styles were available. I found two adorable pairs – 2nd Take – Fall 4 Me and Indulge 2 – Urban Safari – purchasing them online was so easy – before I knew it… I had them in hand! Once I received them, I stepped out to a little beach I like to call Sugar Beach! This spot is super cute, definitely a chic little beach experience and best part is – it is filled with baby pink umbrellas – how much better can things get than that?
