Valentine’s Day – Technology – Will You Be My Valentine?
Valentine’s Day is one of those days that we all think about and just ”know” is going to come up at some point! I find that people either love it or hate it – but all of you who know me best, realize that I always look at things from a different perspective – always aim to develop a positive point of view towards something – whenever possible! Whether in a relationship or not – I started seeing this ‘love day’ as being just that – a day to express ‘love’ for the people that we care about and who support us in throughout our lives – love for our friends – our children – our relatives – our co-workers – all of those that bring us joy and happiness!
I started making it known to my #Valentine – that it didn’t need to be flowers or jewellery…or even a ring – but that if they were going to go out and get gifts anyway- that I might just be “open” to some “tech” devices – there are definitely are a few that I have been eyeing lately – not even going to lie on that front 😉 A couple favourites that would totally be “acceptable” as Valentine’s Day gifts – and when I say “acceptable” … I actually mean totally “amazing” Valentine’s Day gifts – the gifts that truly keep on giving! This got me thinking about really speaking up about this and sharing my thoughts on how this day could be viewed and how to really make everyday a special day!

If we can make time to take care of ourselves, we’ll really be better equipped to take care of others and be the best that we can be overall! I always look at Valentine’s day as almost another “New Year’s Resolution” opportunity – another day to revaluate where Iam at in my life and also to find new ways to spend more time with loved ones. This is where #fitnessgoals can really help keep us together! Fitbits are great for keeping track of our progress and giving us something to measure ourselves against – a really fantastic for us to push ourselves to reach new heights – new goals – #couplegoals – #friendshipgoals #familygoals – one “step at a time”!
Technology has seriously improved our lives so much – we are so lucky to be living at time when connecting with someone across the world is effortless – when taking a photo doesn’t involve waiting for a few days to pass … to actually “see” those photos – when calling a loved ones to say “I love you” – doesn’t involve going home to dial up their number using a rotary phone – and when meeting someone for a blind date doesn’t result in you trying to figure out if that next person coming in is to the restaurant is ‘your date’ or just another person who wants to eat out that night – now we can actually just ”call them” – ain’t that the best! Everything is changing so rapidly – it is just a ‘way of life’ for us now – and things just keep getting better and better! Life keeps improving and this is all thanks to technology! @BestBuyCanada has literally become my designation for everything these days – it’s my one-stop shop for all things #good – all things #lifestyle!
