I know many of you have been following along and have had an opportunity to really see our #Italy experience through the lens of the Google Pixel 3 – but absolutely wanted to take a minute to pull together a little write up and give you all a better idea of what happened along the way – what we saw – where we landed and what we took away from this adventure!
This all came about as a result of our partnership with Air Italy and Google. Air Italy is an exceptional airline – one that truly aims to have each one of its passengers #ImagineTheWorldDifferently! Everything that we heard about this airline in advance, actually showed itself to be 100% true. You often find that things are sold one way and the delivered another way – but we were pleasantly surprised with the amazing service and the fulfilling business class experience – it was an unforgettable one! And well Google – shareable content – travel – incredible experiences – well, that’s just a natural fit right there!
We took this opportunity to really take some incredible snapshots – from start to finish. It was worth sharing every step with you all and really taking you through each part of the journey – so that you could jump on board mentally – and start to envision what this would look like and feel like – if you …yourself were on board with us – and heading to Italy. This is what my Google Pixel 3 really helps me do so well – capture key moments effectively. I’m not sure if you’ve heard – but the camera on this phone is actually unreal – so unreal how ‘real’ the results are! The team and I took this opportunity to scan across the menu – and grab footage for the video that we wanted to pull together – yes – you read that correctly – we were capturing key parts of the experience and setting aside as useable b-roll because that’s what you can do with your Google Pixel 3 my friends ? And of course sharing via social – because insta-stories are a thing! They really are!
Once we landed in Milan…we could already sense that the air had changed – it’s that feeling you get when you know you’re in a new place – things smell different – feel different – and there is this excitement that overwhelms and comes over you! The excitements comes from realizing that there is some freedom that comes from travelling – something that you just know is going to change you and better you in some way.
Our first stop was the Duomo – because well, who wouldn’t make that their first stop. The sights are gorgeous – the square is divine and the architecture is picture perfect. Every corner was a special one and really gave us a new view into Milan – and all that it had to offer.
